It's almost two years since I placed this place of rest and repose here. I decided to come by today and decorate. I've never really been a fancy material sort of person so you won't see a great deal of that. What you will see is a perfect picture of how I see myself.
No matter how many times we pass by the little ball of stuff atop a thin slender stem we are compelled to pluck the little wonder hold it in our hands and just blow. Instantly countless little parts of the whole are pushed out into the open air and carried by the wind.
I'm not a fragile soul my roots run deep but occasionally I am grasped by and unknown hand and shaken by the wind.
Did they know that what they were doing was not destroying me but multiplying the little plant?
Oh what a dandy-lion!
We don't really notice the small yellow flower of the dandeloins humble beginnings. Children pick them as flowers. Adults just call them weeds.
Yellow somehow became associated with being a coward and so in it's beginning the dandy little lion seems without courage but not so for it's roots are deep and stubborn.
Sit down for awhile and think about it. There is a lot of wisdom in God's "lion tooth."
